The coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is thought to spread mainly through person-to-person contact. Federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend that students of all ages be vaccinated.
Miss Tanya’s School of Dance Inc.
implemented precautionary measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 by adding the following:
- Upon entering the studio, students will be required to use hand sanitizer upon arrival.
- We will have a touchless sanitizing station for use in the lobby, and touchless sanitizing stations will be in each classroom and throughout the studio.
- We will follow CDC guidelines for cleaning and sanitation.
- We have purchased the correct cleaning products recommended by the CDC and are EPA approved for all hard surfaces, bathrooms as well as our Marley floors and we clean the studio surfaces at the end of each day. Bathrooms will be cleaned every hour.
- We have H13 HEPA air purifiers in all three studios and one in the lobby.
- We have decided to keep the waiting rooms closed as we have noticed that there is less disruption in the classroom.
- Parents/guardians may come to the studio with students ages 4-6 for the first few weeks to settle the student into the classroom.
- Once they are in class, we kindly ask you to leave the studio.
- Parents/guardians may make payments in the studio but must wait until all students are in their assigned classes.
- We will use the studio cubicles for all personal belongings.
- Students may bring their own water (ONLY) clearly marked with their name.
- All water coolers were removed from the classrooms.
- The NO FOOD policy will be strictly enforced.
- The locker room will not be used, so students will have to come in full clothes.
- All students will enter and leave through the main entrance to the studio.
- We will no longer use separate entrances.

Despite all the above precautions, Miss Tanya’s School of Dance Inc. cannot ensure that you or your child/children do not contract COVID-19.
By signing this agreement, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that my child/children and I may be exposed to or contract COVID-19 by attending Miss Tanya’s School of Dance Inc. and that such exposure, or infection can result in injury, illness, permanent disability, and death.
I understand that the risk of being exposed to or contracting COVID-19 at Miss Tanya’s School of Dance Inc. is not caused by the actions or negligence of studio owners, employees and others, including but not limited to Miss Tanya’s School of Dance Inc. staff, volunteers and program participants and their families.
I agree to assume all risk and accept responsibility for any injury to my child/children or myself (including but not limited to injury, disability and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability or expense of any kind that I or my child/children may experience or suffer in connection with attending classes at Miss Tanya’s School of Dance Inc. And I hereby release and covenant not to sue, discharge and hold harmless Miss Tanya’s School of Dance Inc. , its owners, employees and agents and from claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of COVID-19, whether the infection with COVID-19 occurs before, during or after participation in any program, class or the Miss Tanya’s School of Dance Inc. event.
My child or I have had no fever, cough, fatigue, or other symptoms commonly associated with COVID-19 in the past fourteen (10) days:
My child or I have not been in contact with any family member or social acquaintance who has had a fever, cough, fatigue or other symptoms commonly associated with COVID-19 or traveled to areas where there is an increase in Covid 19 infections.
